What is it that you get when you cross Tony Jaa (or Jackie Chan) with Dustin Hoffman from Rainman?

You get Chocolate.

Thats right. Chocolate the next great export from Thailand. This is another great action film in the vein of Chan or Jaa. Its a revenge movie…its an action movie…its a comedy.

The story involves Zen. A perhaps 13 year old girl. Her mother was once in the mob but was forced to leave when she fell in love with an opposiing clans leader. She leaves and soon after Zen is born. But Zen has some issues. Shes Autistic. But we soon realise this is not a handicap in any way shape or form. Zen is special.

Zen can easily reproduce anything she sees. And her reflexes are like a cat. Jen and her friend soon embark on an ill advised attempt to strike back at the people that owe her mother money from her past life in order to pay medical bills. This takes them down a road that leads to danger, comedy, and some very intense and well coreographed action.

The film from Thailand is directed by Prachya Pinkaew and stars Yanin Vismitananda as Zen.

Yanin appears to be about 13 in the film but was tremendously gifted at both acting and action in which she performs all her own stunts without wires or tricks. She trained for 4 years for this film. This is trully amazing to watch.

Well my day was going ok….but things finally came to a head.
I had enough around 200 today and wanted to just get the hell out of there and not come back.
My job isn’t that great or exciting but it is tremendously stressful for me. And things going on lately
have compounded things.

I like to get things done. I like accomplishing things and for nearly 2 weeks now i feel like i haven’t accomplished anything.
For 2 weeks now I’ve been focused on one thing. And everything else has been put on hold.
And not because i want it on hold. I have 2 weeks of work piling up and customers asking me why
its not done. And i don’t have a real good answer. And no one else seems to care.
Thus my storming out of work.

And so…I’ve been focused on one project which has just been meetings and such.
And we are finally getting close to completion and it has ruined something important to me.
I’ve been planning for weeks to go to a film festival and see. Its my thing and i don’t get to do it often.
And now It’s being taken from me by my work.

The following is a conversation i had with a coworker earlier tonight.

Boomskill: you okay?
heckle0: no
heckle0: I’m frustrated and pissed
heckle0: Havent got shit done in over a week because of
heckle0: “process”
heckle0: And now im about to get stuff done but….oh wait….we are doing the elevate around the exact time that you took your day off for….oh well guess you wont get to use
those tickets
heckle0: I’m fed up
heckle0: And now i just woke up and havent eaten STILL and have to head in to work for 4-5 Hours to “test” so that i can then again wake up and work on my day off

What a hilarious movie. Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott are hilarious together. One of the funniest movies this year.

Right up there with Zack and Miri Make a Porno.

James Gunn has directed several hilarious movies including one of my favorites “Slither”

He has now created a series of shorts wondering what would happen if Porn…was rated PG.

It is thusly titled…PG PORN. This first one starts one of my favorite actors…Nathan Fillion.

He’s been in many movies including Saving Private Ryan, Waitress, and Slither.

This movie also stars porn star Aria Giovanni. Check it out

The world has gone crazy. People are guessing on things and making things worse.

People making decisions based on fear and making things worse.

The wrong people in the powerful positions making the decisions for the masses and making them wrong.

And here we are….the working people and we suffer.

We pay while they spend.

We toil while they decide.

We suffer while they promise.

Isn’t America great.

Well my worries have subsided. Ok not totally. Never will totally. But today is a good day too bad it’s not Friday.
At least it’s payday.

I had such a hard week last week and to start this week i do something harmless and it turns out to not be.

I feel so freaking terrible. And this time it might actually cost me. I’m ready to do what i need to but it still feels terrible. Oh well. Find out more tomorrow.

So I’m doing ok at work and the day is near its end and I get a phone call. Production is having issues.

Oh crap. Turns out “someone” ran something that broke some database. Guess who “someone” was.

Well turns out wasnt my fault. But still sucks to be part of something getting screwed up. Specially when its something this big. Hope i find out later that its ok. Hate to see the stock market dip.
